  I love this place. All low ceilings and varnished wood. The food is excellent and we take visiting family here because everyone's tastes from meat and two veg to thai curry are catered for. Vegetarians are well taken care of with a wider choice than most. My favourite dish is the "Black and Blue Fillet" a beautifully aged and tenderised fillet steak with a punchy blue cheese sauce. One of the best steaks I've ever eaten. In the Winter they do a golden pork crackling my Mum goes mad for. Their Creme Brulee is also awesome... The beers are well kept and there's a good cross-section to suit all tastes.

  Fabulous place too eat and stay. Food is amazing home cooked loveliness. Bar is tastefully decorated with old advertising. Rooms are spacious with comfy beds and the staff are do friendly.... what more could you ask for !!
